Product Overview
Rf-T ZENiX field modules are the link between your dampers, your building signals and the ZENiX fire and smoke control system. The range covers everything from direct damper control to extra inputs and outputs, so one system can be scaled to suit a small installation or a large multi-zone building.
The damper control modules monitor and control motorised fire dampers and smoke control dampers. Versions are available for a single damper or up to two fire dampers per module, and for 230 V or 24 V actuators, including 24 V actuators with ST connection plugs. A monitoring module is also available for mechanical dampers. LEDs show damper position, bus communication and error status, and damper modules keep reporting position if mains power is lost, so the system always knows where a damper sits.
For wider system requirements, the input and output modules add extra capacity: 12 digital inputs, 12 relay outputs, or a combined 8 inputs and 4 outputs. They bring in alarm signals from the fire detection panel (matrix) or damper end switches, and they drive programmable relay outputs with defined safe states. This makes it simple to add further fire zones without reworking the rest of the system.
Every module has a predefined address, so there is no addressing or configuration on the field device. That makes installation and commissioning quicker and reduces the risk of setup errors. Please contact us to find the right combination of modules for your project.

Features and Benefits
- Fire and smoke damper control: one range covers both applications, so a single system can handle fire compartmentation and smoke control.
- Single or twin damper modules: control 1 damper, or up to 2 fire dampers per module, to match the installation.
- 230 V and 24 V options: suited to common spring return actuators such as BFL(T) and BFN(T) fire damper actuators and BLE, BE, BEN and BEE smoke damper actuators.
- ST-plug versions: 24 V modules for actuators with ST connection plugs, with the actuator isolated from mains by a transformer.
- Predefined addresses: no addressing or configuration on the field device, which saves commissioning time and reduces errors.
- Clear LED indication: damper position, bus communication and error status are visible at a glance, which helps with commissioning, testing and fault finding.
- Position reporting without mains: damper modules still report current damper position if the 230 V supply is lost (the damper can’t be re-armed or moved until power returns).
- Mechanical damper monitoring: a dedicated module also monitors mechanical dampers, so standard dampers can sit on the same network.
- 12 digital inputs (DI12): potential-free inputs for additional alarm signals from the fire detection panel (matrix) or end switches on mechanical dampers.
- 12 relay outputs (DO12): programmable outputs with safe states you define.
- 8 inputs and 4 outputs (DI8DO4): a combined module for smaller zones or mixed requirements.
- Easy to expand: I/O modules let you add fire zones as the project grows.
- Protected casings: damper modules are IP54, and I/O modules are IP20 for cabinet installation.
