Smoke control dampers are used to help control smoke movement and support the safe evacuation of buildings during a fire. Depending on the system design, they can be used to ventilate protected lobbies and vent smoke to shafts either naturally or mechanically.

Our Rf-t dampers are designed for use within smoke control systems and are available with different installation configurations and performance characteristics, including solutions for walls, refractory ducts and shafts.

Designed to EN 12101-8

Our Rf-t smoke control dampers are developed and tested against the relevant European standards for smoke control dampers. The VU120, VUW120 and MARKAGE MB are compliant with EN 12101-8 and tested according to EN 1366-10, with the MARKAGE MB also tested according to EN 1366-2.

Depending on the model and installation, the range offers fire resistance of up to 120 minutes, with features including airtightness, low pressure loss and reliable operation during fire conditions.
